A documentary that gives a peek into the life and works of renowned writer and storyteller Ki Rajanarayanan is released today at the Santhom Community Hall, Chennai. Titled after the writer’s birthplace, Idaicheval, the documentary, released in CD form, is directed by Vasanthi Prahaladan. Social activist and Rajyasabha member Kanimozhi Karunanidhi released the CD and the first copy was received by Tamilachi Thangapandiyan.Actor Sivakumar, writer Jeyakandan, and Ki Rajanarayanan were present during the occasion. Ki.Ra is much celebrated for his Karisalkaatu Kadudaasi and his wry humor in his works that reflects hardships of life in the countryside.
