Shriya's visit to Tirupati on Ugadi turned out to be a terrifying experience for her. It is well known that lord Balaji would be adorned with floral decorations on the Telugu New Year's day. This naturally had the crowd thronging the place. Meanwhile, the actress, after her darshan, was waiting at the car park area, where she was promptlyrecognized by some of her fans and was instantly mobbed. Though she struggled for some time to get out of the melee, the police had to intervene to disperse the crowd and see her safely out.
