In Katha Parayumbol which is rajinis next remake movie, Mammooty played the role of a superstar and appeared only in a few scenes but it was a very significant role. In the Tamil version, however, sources indicate director P. Vasu has considerably increased the length of Rajini’s role so as to please his fans but it will still only occupy a minor part in the film, significant nevertheless. He has even adapted the story to suit the Tamil audiences they say. Actor Pasupathy will play the role essayed by Sreenivas in the original. Vasu has requested Rajini to allocate a mere 10 days, which is an indication on the duration of his role. Another aspect is that Rajini will not have a leading lady opposite him, reports say. Hope Rajini's fans can get enough of their superstar on screen. After all they are the ones who bring in the moolah.
