Sony Pictures India is said to have been so impressed with Shankar's Robot that they have offered to produce it right away, which they say, might cross the Rs.100 crore mark, making it India's most expensive movie ever made. The production house is also said to have asked Shankar to convince the superstar to feature in this mega budget sci-fi flick as they feel only he can bring in the Shankar moolah, a belief that has stemmed after the stupendous success of Sivaji. The production house also believes that the project becomes financially viable only if it is made in three major languages – Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
