Meera Jasmine made her debut with Madhavan in Lingusamy’s Run which was a runaway hit. She immediately came to be accepted as a chirpy girl with Ayutha Ezhuthu opposite Madhavan again under Mani Ratnam’s direction proving her mettle as an actress of substance.
She happened to do a few movies in between but didn’t see too much success with them.
Even recently her film Sandakozhi opposite Vishal was a huge success but her later movies didn’t do as well. Now sources indicate that she may be seen in Payanigal Gavanathirku opposite Jeevan. This film directed by S.A. Vijay Kumar was in the news recently for its heroine hunt as the unit couldn’t procure dates from the leading heroines of the industry. It has been reported that Meera may don the role of heroine in the film but there is no confirmation from her side yet.
