With news channels across the country flashing information that superstar Rajini Kanth’s next project will be Shankar’s Robot, here comes the surprise news of all. He will be seen in a film for his mentor K. Balachander’s banner, Kavithalaya films. The film is to be directed by P.Vasu who last teamed up with the star for the blockbuster Chandramukhi. The superstar will have a leading Bollywood actress playing his heroine in this film.
Both the producer and the director have not come out officially with this news but sources close to them say that an official announcement will be made on the 14th of January. The announcement will be made by K. Balachander and as most of Rajini’s fans were expecting, nothing much would be revealed by the star on the Silver jubilee celebrations of Sivaji on the 11th of this month. Alas! The guessing game has come to an end.
