Saroja creates traffic jam

The expectations that surround Saroja just got bigger with the its director Venkat Prabhu disclosing that he has created sets for a traffic jam costing about Rs. 50 lakhs near Maduravoyal in Chennai. Speaking about his project, he said that this scene that featured about 100 buses, 200 lorries, jeeps, container tankers, vans etc., was shot for one-week after obtaining permission from the government.

The story is about an unusual incident that unfolds on one eventful day in the lives of four youth played by SPB Charan, Premji, Siva and Vaibhav. Disclosing more about Saroja, Venkat said that a tanker lorry is the main character in the film. Moreover, the film has three stories, which happen in three different cities, all interwoven together. And this traffic jam becomes the meeting point. The happenings in the three cities will be filmed using three distinct colors. Saroja will be a technically challenging film, says its director.
