Rajini's next movie releases tommrow

Sivaji - The Boss didn’t even need subtitles to pull people to the theatres in Mumbai. The magic of Rajinikanth was so empowering. Now the Superstar is set to weave his magic one more time on the people of cosmopolitan, but with his previous movie. Yes, that’s right, now Chandramukhi will be released in Mumbai, in Hindi and the best part is that Rajinikanth himself will be rendering voice.

The movie will be released by Dilip Dhanwani of the Royal Film Company with 150 prints. This is a new record for a dubbed movie.

Chandramukhi though based on the Malayalam original, Manichitrathazhu starring Mohanlal, did exceptional business in Kerala. It also broke couple of records in Andhra. The movie ran for close to 900 days at Shanthi theatre in Chennai. Now it is all set to woo the Mumbai cinema fans. In-spite of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the Akshay starrer, which was again based on Manichitrathazhu running well in the city, distributor Dilip Dhanwani is very confident of the movie’s prospects. Talking to Behindwoods he said, “Rajinikanth is a big brand here. Though the actor has stopped doing Bollywood movies, people remember him for his unique style. I am sure they will come to just see him.”

Rajnikanth and Ajith seem to be going closer with same attitudes and there have been many illustrations that we would have seen. Over here we have another evident fact that reveals of their binding attitudes. After Chandiramukhi making grand success at the box-office, superstar and Sivaji Productions decided to have all the costumes and properties used by superstar for auctioning. Collections made from this auction were given to social service homes.

Now with Billa topping box-office chart, Ajith and Ananda Pictures together have come up with the same approach. Costumes, cooling glasses, shoes and other properties used by Ajith would be auctioned and amount of money collected would be distributed for social-welfare of under privileged sections.

Sweet Memories of rajinikanth

Rajinikanth may not give messages in his movies, he entertains. But all the messages about being a good human being, he gives through his life, modesty, humility and simplicity. Here’s wishing the Superstar many more happy returns of the day.

During the shooting of Chandramukhi the entire crew was traveling in a bus. Rajinikanth too was in the bus which was traveling at a fair speed. He was standing in the center of the bus without holding on to anything. Someone advised him ‘Sir, you may fall, please catch hold of something’. Rajinikanth smiled and replied ‘I was once a bus conductor; I know how to stand in a moving bus without falling.’ There might be humor in what he said but there is also a profound message. No matter what peaks you scale and what you become, never forget what you once were, never forget your roots.
